On Sept. 13, 2010, the Committee on Transforming Finance recognizes Finance as a Global Commons and commits responsibility to reforming it from within, as active participants and beneficiaries of capital markets.
It poses key questions as to the purpose of finance not answered in recent regulations and attempts at financial reform, and calls for action to bring about the necessary transformation.
